Mercy Palliative Care does not charge for its services and although we do receive funding from the Victorian Government we also rely on community support and donations.
The success of our fundraising program allows us to maintain a high standard of care and we thank all groups, organisations and individuals who assist us throughout the year.
Craig Parry Celebrity Golf Day
For over ten years we have held an annual fundraising golf day. This year's event (2006) will be held in February. Craig Parry has generously supported this event since its inception and donates his time and commitment. Sponsorship, together with the post-tournament dinner and auction, has raised the cumulative 10-year total for funds raised to over $600,000.
Parish Appeals
An annual Parish Appeal is held every year and is a major contributor to our fundraising. Last year we achieved the milestone of raising in excess of $50,000 for the first time.
